I’m not getting full-time offers right now and only internship opportunities are coming my way. Is it better to take another internship or keep waiting and applying for full-time roles?
Yes, accepting another internship can make sense, but only if you’re clear about why you’re doing it.
If the internship gives you better learning, stronger projects, or a real chance to convert to full-time, then it’s usually worth it. In the current market, many companies prefer to test freshers through internships before offering full-time roles. I’ve seen people convert their second or even third internship into a solid full-time job.
However, blindly doing internships back to back without growth is a bad idea. If the role is repetitive, unpaid, or doesn’t add anything new to your resume, it can delay things instead of helping. The key question to ask is: Will this internship improve my chances of getting a full-time role in the next 3–6 months?
From my experience, an internship with learning and ownership is far better than sitting idle waiting for a perfect full-time offer. Just make sure each step is moving you forward, not keeping you stuck in the same loop.
