Is A DevOps Career Safe?

Hey everyone :waving_hand:

I’ve been thinking about moving into DevOps, but I have one big question — is a DevOps career actually safe in the long term?

With automation, AI tools, and cloud platforms becoming more advanced, I’m wondering whether DevOps roles will stay in demand or become highly saturated. I see a lot of companies adopting cloud, CI/CD, containers, and infrastructure as code, which makes DevOps look promising. But at the same time, many tools are becoming easier and more automated.

For those already working in DevOps, do you feel the career has strong long-term stability? What skills should someone focus on to stay relevant in the next 5–10 years?

Would really appreciate honest insights from experienced professionals. Thanks in advance :raising_hands:
