In the future, a lot of routine coding (boilerplate, basic functions, simple fixes) will be assisted or generated by AI. That doesn’t remove developers; it shifts their role toward problem-solving, system design, and decision-making. Instead of just writing code, developers will spend more time understanding requirements, reviewing AI-generated code, and making sure systems are secure and reliable.
