What are the best companies to start your career?

I’m a fresher and trying to understand which companies are considered good to begin a career with. What factors should I look at while choosing a company for my first job?

As a fresher, it’s easy to focus only on salary or brand name, but for a first job, those are not the only things that matter.

What helped me was looking at questions like:

Will I actually learn something here?
What kind of projects or work will I get?
Do freshers get proper guidance or are they left on their own?
Is there growth after 1–2 years?
Will this experience help me switch later if needed?

A “good” company for starting your career is usually one where you get strong basics, real work exposure, and enough room to grow. Sometimes a smaller company with good learning can be better than a big brand where you do repetitive work for years.

Also, don’t judge a company only by LinkedIn hype. Talk to seniors, check employee experiences, and understand what freshers actually work on there. Your first job is less about finding the perfect company and more about building a strong foundation for the next few years.
