I’m confused whether it’s better to target a specific type of company or keep my preparation broad. Does narrowing down help, or does it limit opportunities?

Early on, it’s better to prepare **generally** so you keep more options open. Strong basics in DSA, aptitude, and one language work for most companies.

Once interviews get closer, you can switch to **company-specific prep**. Practicing mixed company questions on platforms like [PlacementPreparation.io](http://PlacementPreparation.io) helps balance both without overthinking.
