I’ve been practicing coding but haven’t tried mock interviews yet. Do they actually make a difference in real interviews?

Mock interviews can make a **huge difference** in placement preparation.

While practicing coding builds your technical skills, mock interviews help you experience **real interview pressure** —explaining your thought process, managing time, and handling follow-up questions. Many candidates know the solution but struggle to communicate it clearly during actual interviews.

Mock interviews also help you:

- Identify weak areas (DSA, basics, communication)

- Improve confidence and reduce nervousness

- Get feedback on how interviewers evaluate answers

- Practice real interview patterns used by companies

Many students see noticeable improvement after just a few mock sessions. If you already practice coding, mock interviews are the **next best step** to convert that preparation into actual offers.

All the best—you’re on the right track! 🚀

Mock interviews are quite important because they show you gaps you won’t notice while studying alone.

They help you get comfortable explaining your thinking, handling pressure, and answering follow-up questions. Even if your knowledge is good, poor communication can hurt in real interviews. A few mock interviews can significantly improve confidence and clarity.
