Yes, moving from Infosys BPM to a Data Analyst role is definitely possible. Your BPM experience can be useful, especially if you’ve worked with reports, process metrics, KPIs, quality data, or operational dashboards.

The main step is to add the technical skills employers look for, particularly Excel, SQL, Power BI, basic statistics, and Python. I’d also recommend building a few practical projects and adding them to your portfolio.

If you prefer structured learning rather than figuring everything out yourself, the HCL GUVI Data Science Course is worth considering. It covers core data skills along with practical projects and mentorship, which can help when you’re making a career transition.

You don’t have to completely start over. Think of it as adding data analytics skills to the experience you already have and then targeting Data Analyst roles that match your background.

Yes, definitely. Experience at Infosys BPM can be useful when moving into Data Analytics, especially if your role involves **reports, Excel, KPIs, process metrics, or client data**.

I’d focus on **Excel, SQL, Power BI, and basic statistics** , then build a few projects that demonstrate your analytical skills. If you already work with data in your current role, try taking on reporting or process-analysis tasks internally as well.

You don’t need to completely start over—you can use your BPM experience as the domain knowledge and add the technical skills needed for an analyst role.
