ORIGIN OF THE TERM 'ROBOT' | #ThinkOnThursday

Robots come in all shapes and sizes and I’m sure that all of us hope one day they might do our tasks and relieve us.

The term robot comes from the Czech word ‘robota’ which means forced labor.

The word was first used to refer to a fictional humanoid in a play in 1920.

We just hope they never discover that to be the case as we're fairly sure that's when the robot uprising will begin.
