A complete beginner. Need help in solving codekata.

I am a complete beginner and i have attended all three sessions of boot camp last week end. Eventhough i try whatever i have learnt, i couldnt even clear the first question of codekata. can anyone guide me with one or two questions so that i will know what basic mistakes i am doing. Kindly help
