Which programs to choose (Beginner/Medium/Advaced)??

Hi,
In the 2nd video of the course (Algorithm Tracing Technique) Arun Sir suggested to practice writing 'Pseudo Code & Trace Table' for 6 programs.
Can any one pls suggest what type of programs shud I pick ??
Please spare me this question if it feels trivial. Am new to programming, hence the question.
